Terms of service
The rules for using
SecureBoot.
These Terms explain the conditions for using the SecureBoot Discord bot, its web dashboard and related server-management features.
By inviting SecureBoot, signing in to the dashboard, configuring a server or using a command, you agree to these Terms. If you act for a Discord server or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to configure the service for it.
Acceptance and eligibility
You must meet Discord's minimum age requirements and be legally able to accept these Terms. If local law requires permission from a parent or guardian, you may use SecureBoot only with that permission.
If you do not agree with these Terms, do not install or use SecureBoot.
What SecureBoot provides
SecureBoot provides Discord server-management tools including moderation, warnings, AutoMod, anti-raid protection, reaction and status roles, rank roles and statistics, giveaways, media notifications, member counters, welcome messages, Nitro Booster roles and temporary voice rooms.
Features may be added, changed, limited or retired to improve security, reliability or compliance.
Server administrators and permissions
Only people authorised by a server owner or granted the relevant Discord permission should configure SecureBoot. You are responsible for:
- granting only the permissions needed for selected features;
- configuring staff roles and automated actions responsibly;
- checking Discord role hierarchy and channel permissions;
- informing your community about moderation and logging practices where required.
SecureBoot checks permissions and role hierarchy, but the server's administrators remain responsible for their configuration and moderation decisions.
Acceptable use
You may not use SecureBoot to violate law, Discord's rules or third-party rights. In particular, you must not:
- harass, threaten, impersonate or unlawfully discriminate against anyone;
- spam users, abuse notifications or send unsolicited advertising;
- attempt to access another server, account or configuration without permission;
- probe, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer or bypass rate limits and security controls;
- use the service to distribute malware, stolen data or illegal content;
- misrepresent SecureBoot as an official Discord product.
Commands and automated moderation
SecureBoot acts on commands and policies configured by authorised server staff. AutoMod and Anti-Raid can issue warnings, timeouts, kicks, bans or temporary server lockdowns when configured thresholds are met.
Server administrators should review automated settings before enabling them and provide an appropriate appeal path. SecureBoot does not independently determine whether a person has broken a law or Discord rule.
Discord and third-party services
SecureBoot is an independent application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by Discord Inc. Use of Discord remains subject to Discord's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, Developer Terms and other applicable policies.
Some features may depend on Discord, YouTube or hosting/network providers. Their availability and rules are outside SecureBoot's control.
SecureBoot Basic and Ultra
Basic provides the standard feature set and limits shown in the dashboard. Ultra is a server-based entitlement associated with a Discord server ID and may provide higher limits or additional customisation.
Unless a clear checkout and price are presented, no payment is collected. Preview, manually granted or development Ultra access may be changed or withdrawn. Future paid terms, price, billing cycle and cancellation rules will be shown before purchase.
Availability and changes
The service is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis. Maintenance, Discord outages, hosting limits, API changes or security incidents may interrupt features. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
We may apply reasonable rate limits, restrict resource-heavy operations and make urgent changes to protect users, Discord servers or the service.
Removal, suspension and termination
You can stop using SecureBoot by removing it from your server and signing out of the dashboard. We may restrict or suspend access when necessary to address abuse, security risk, legal requirements, Discord enforcement or a material breach of these Terms.
To request deletion of stored server or user records, contact us with the relevant Discord user ID and server ID. We may ask for reasonable proof of authority.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SecureBoot is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of uninterrupted availability or suitability for a particular purpose.
SecureBoot is not responsible for moderation decisions made by server staff, incorrect configuration, Discord outages or indirect losses. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the service, law or platform requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated through the dashboard, bot or website where practical. Continued use after an update means acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, subject to any mandatory protections that apply in your country of residence. Disputes should first be raised in good faith by contacting kontakt@swcode.xyz.
Privacy and data-rights information is available in the SecureBoot Privacy Policy.
